Adolescence is a critical time in emotional development as teens undergo significant changes in brain development and hormone regulation. While this may subject teens to higher incidence of mental health issues, it also makes them particularly receptive to positive influences in emotional and behavioral learning. We offer psychiatric programs for teens with varying levels of structure and intensity to provide options that fit the their individual needs. Patients are taught Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills (DBT) to help improve with emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance, and receive a psychiatry session every week.
Psychiatric programming is offered at two levels. The Partial Care Program is a high intensity full day program which meets five days per week, while the Intensive Outpatient Program is an after school, half day program which meets up to five days per week.
