High Focus Centers is offering teletherapy for teen mental health treatment during COVID-19. With video conferencing technology, your child can receive treatment and counseling from the safety and comfort of home.
Adolescence is a critical time in emotional development as teens undergo significant changes in brain development and hormone regulation. While this may subject teens to a higher incidence of mental health issues, it also makes them particularly receptive to positive influences in emotional and behavioral learning.
High Focus Centers offers psychiatric programs for teens with varying levels of structure and intensity to provide options that fit their individual needs. Patients are taught Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills (DBT) to help improve with emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance and receive a psychiatry session every week.
Psychiatric programming is offered at two levels. The Partial Care Program is a high-intensity full-day program that meets five days per week, while the Intensive Outpatient Program is an after school, half-day program which meets up to five days per week.
